A little about us

We are passionate about using products that are cruelty-free, and will only stock vegan products that have been vegan-certified and tested on willing humans. In 2020, I was awarded 1st place in the Social Image Colour Awards by De Lorenzo Haircare.

Now more than ever I think it’s not enough to just understand the impact we are having on the planet, but to do whatever we can to reduce the waste we use in our salons and to set a standard. 

When designing my salon I made sure to limit the amount of plastic used, and do not have any real leather. I have used some recycled furniture and vintage items - I believe in giving all products as long a shelf life as possible! I also LOVE plants - both for they how make people and rooms feel - so expect to see a lot of green!

I love being a hairdresser. It’s not every job that allows you to be creative as well as making people happy feel good about themselves. I love giving people a little “Sho Glow!” 

I have been part of a non-profit operation called Short, Back & Sidewalks in Sydney for 3 years now. We assist those in need of haircuts free of charge, and free of judgement. We are lucky enough to have been invited to the wonderful Garma Festival of Traditional Cultures as well as various parts of the Northern Territory to cut, braid, spray with glitter, and make connections with beautiful people.
